Welcome to the Houston Horned Frogs team website! We are a new Semi-Pro basketball team playing in the Empire Basketball Association (EBA)! We were founded in Houston, TX in 2014. Our goals and missions are to not only become better basketball players but to also improve as people within ourselves and the community. 12/13/2014 - The Houston Horned Frogs come out victorious against division rival, Texas Resurrection, 118-85! Anthony Turner led the team with 22 points. Adarrius Rogers followed up with 20 & Richard McDougal also added 16 points while converting 4 3's for the game. Elton Wilson was voted the MVP, piling up a multitude of points, steals & assists.
12/7/2014 - The Houston Horned Frogs hire new Head coach, Tracie Bell. Check the News & Blog section to read more about the hiring of Tracie Bell.
11/30/2014 - In a rematch against Team Faith, the Houston Horned Frogs take Team by storm winning the game 137-124. Coach Harps has shown success through the first 2 games of his coaching career by starting off 2-0. "It's such an honor being able to coach a group of guys like the ones we have here. They're respectful, hard-working and are always listening. Those are great traits to have as basketball players," says Head Coach, Jonathan Harps. Richard McDougal led the team with 23 points while guys like Anthony Turner helped lead the way with 18 points.
